A BACKGROUND TO SELLING SERVICES
For over 20 years, "Selling Services", led by Brian Griffin, has focussed its efforts exclusively on the training, marketing and selling of professional services.
* For more than 8 years, Brian was Marketing Director of a large UK training organisation, focussing on the creation and marketing of customised training programmes to commercial clients.
* In 1989 he set up a unique 5 man Consultancy aimed at equipping the Further Education and training worlds with the skills and know-how to sell their services to corporate clients.
* He formed unique alliances with outstanding organisations, such as Boots the Chemist, Jewsons, Elf Oil and Artex to bring training to sceptical employers.
* Since 1992, he has been active in many areas of training design and delivery, and has represented a variety of employer and training bodies.
* He writes columns in professional training journals, and speaks widely to training associations on the themes of marketing and selling services to employers.
* Prior to his training industry career, Brian spent 7 years marketing and selling services with international companies in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
* He is a Bachelor of Education, a Chartered Marketer, a Fellow of the Institute of Sales & Marketing Management, and holds Member status of the Chartered Institute of Marketing; the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development; the International Society for Performance Improvement; and the Professional Pricing Society.
